Why I created it...

I am creating this blog for the generation that I am from and social demographic that I was raised in. That being, middle class America.

If you are like me, you have found yourself coming out of college with a great degree, with more debt than anyone our age should ever be burdened with and the desire to get ahead asap.

As sour as the economy has been I do thank God for being given the opportunities that we're presented to me. I was laid off twice in 5 months but stuck through it and landed a very steady job. When I first graduated I didn't have the common sense and wherewithal to realize the most important thing an individual fresh out of college can do is get a full time job and start saving asap. The economy was hot late 06 to early 07 and I got greedy.

Let me just interrupt my thought here for everyone to realize that I am not a person who seeks wealth for power. I got greedy because I wanted to get out of debt asap. I put myself entirely through college and wanted to go to the college of my dreams and unfortunately got very little help doing so.

Since I came out of college with little experience I got pretty much bottom barrel starting salary as a software engineer and forced myself to find something that would be more rewarding for a long day of work. I scoured hundreds of websites and spent countless hours trying to something... ANYTHING that I could do to earn an extra buck while I was on the weekends while trying to maintain somewhat of a natural lifestyle early 20 year-old's enjoy fresh out of college. I tried things like "Apple Patch Diet" which basically posts its links for you and apparently "starts earning income right away" and "work at home data entry" which I even paid $300 dollars for and spent countless hours training myself in its field. Long story short none of this panned out to what everyone online swears it to be...

The real truth about working from home...

I am starting this blog to educate everyone out there who is currently going through the tremendous downturn of the economy and has ultimately been affected in the worst case scenario...

I am a hard working male in my mid-20's with a Computer Engineering Degree from Syracuse University. I am very proud of my accomplishment but attaining a degree from such a prestigious university has definitely cost me a lot more than just money.
